Since there's too much to catch up on since the last time we posted, I thought I'd jump right in to our new life in Eugene. We'll get back to our last adventures in California later, but for now I thought I'd share little glimpses into Jonathan's daily life.
On Thursday we decided to play with some "Squishy" (AKA Playdough) that Lisa made for him last week. We had been coloring a little earlier that day, so he just went ahead and played with Squishy right on our artwork. Last week he had a lesson from Maddie about how to make an imprint in the playdough, so he has been using a little race car to make car prints. I walked into the kitchen for a few minutes until I felt a tug on my shirt. There was the little man, beaming about his newest creation . . .
We both laughed and laughed. He was so proud of himself! Mommy was quite impressed with his creativity. Why not play with Squishy and color at the same time?! Too much fun.
P.S. - Lisa, notice that your two pretty colors of playdough have turned into one big blob of who knows what color. :)

Purple + orange playdough = mud. I should just skip the colors and make all playdough brown, since they all end up this color anyways! :-) {Have you tried the chocolate playdough yet? Mmmmm!}
