Bike Town

We've always heard that Eugene was a bike town. Why wouldn't it be? Flat land, lots of space, small(ish) college town, beautiful rivers, and lots of trees . . . the perfect setting for biking. Well, I don't think we fully realized how much of a bike town it would be. Daddy learned that Eugene has more bikes per capita in the country second only to New York City. And those bikes don't stay in the garage! It's amazing to see how many people use them as their main form of transportation! We look forward to lots of bike riding while we're here.

(p.s. - We're probably going to get Jonathan something a little more his size - maybe a bike trailer instead of daddy's bike? He already loves his trike, so maybe we'll go on some walks as he rides.)
