The Sunday before our Wistaria tour, we headed down to Disneyland for the afternoon and evening. Jonathan's experience of the park grows and changes by leaps and bounds with each visit. Most of the Fantasy Land rides, for example, have scary villains and sections of each ride carry dark themes from the fairy tales (& Disney movies) upon which they're based. He made it through Snow White, but definitely held on to mommy tightly when we went through the dark and scary forest, and saw the witch with the poison apple.
Toon Town was much more Jonathan's style. We explored the Toon Town police and fire departments, bank and play yard, as well as the houses of Minnie, Chip and Dale, and Roger Rabbit.
Jonathan loves "driving," so he was excited to sit behind the wheel of the Toon Town fire truck.
Watching people push down the lever for the Toon Town dynamite shop. Guess what happens when they push the lever? One of Jonathan's favorite things happens: BOOM!!
We visited a new area where Tinkerbell and other fairies live. He was trying to roll away the door to the fairies' house! It was a fun night that also included a trip through the It's a Small World ride, which has been updated to include characters from Disney movies in their respective areas of the globe.

Oh, Maddie is going to be super jealous! :-)
Hmm. Maybe Maddie needs a trip to see Mickey in the next few months?!
