Spring Break 2010 - Day 14

Jonathan's spring break came to a close with a visit to one of his favorite places . . . Disneyland! What better place to get all the last little bits of energy out before returning to school?

This day held a lot more fun for the grown-ups, too, as we decided to focus mainly on the rides we wanted to go on. The day was bittersweet because it was Gamma and Gampa's last day at Disneyland before the annual passes expired, and they won't be renewing. We have years of great memories together at Disneyland thanks to annual passes, and it's sad to know we'll all have to just buy tickets soon.

That being said, the race was on to get in some grown-up rides! First stop? Space Mountain! Gamma and Gampa waited in line and did a quick rider switch with Mommy and Daddy. Second stop? Star Tours! I know, kinda cheesy ride, but it's always fun. Doing rider switch meant a bit of time in the Star Trader while we waited for our turn. Jonathan had fun with a light-up R2-D2. He may not know who he is now, but he will in a few years!

We took Gamma and Gampa in the Tiki Room for the first time since I was little. The Cohns have been a bunch through the years, and Jonathan loves watching everything leading up to the show.

Waiting in line for Pirates is always fun, too (and usually fast). Often followed by dinner in New Orleans Square. (Too bad Gampa and Mommy ended up eating most of Jonathan's Mac n Cheese. We both had super spicy meals and needed some dairy to cool off . . .  sadly, Jonathan wasn't interested anyway.)

Dinner was followed by a run through Frontier Land.

Any day at Disneyland is super sweet, but this one was even sweeter . . . the perfect end to a super fun spring break!
