School Day Fun

Today I took some time to stay with Jonathan for outside time at school. He loves being outside! He looks like a bit of a tourist today and everyone loves it.


This is Ashley, Jonathan's teacher. He loves Ashley. Every morning on the way to school, he asks to go see her. And when we get to school, he runs in and gives her big hugs. She's as sweet as can be and so very gifted with our little guys.

Jonathan's favorite thing to do during outside time is drive. Hmm . . . not much different than when he's at home! Guess we have to make sure he's not one of those kids who steals the car when they're five! He spent most of the time I was there this morning in the little car.


Jonathan clearly has fun during outside time at school. He loves the squishy ground of the play yard {see above for evidence},  driving his "car," playing in the house, and sliding down the slide. Oh, and I can't forget a picture of his favorite thing about outside time . . .

It is always such a joy to get a glimpse into Jonathan's time away from us. Sometimes I get sad about him being in school already. But, when I see him with his friends, when I am given all the amazing art projects he does, and when I watch the way his teachers are with him, I am so very thankful for this experience. He's in an amazing, loving environment and is already learning so much!
