We Need a Silent Night

Because right now as my sweet boy sits and enjoys cocoa while watching Polar Express for the 500th time this month, and I sit working on Christmas cards, I am reminded of what is truly most important this season. Long lines, traffic jams, to-do lists, and the stress of finding "the perfect gift" shouldn't be what Christmas is about. We all need Silent Nights, we all need Holy Nights. We need and want Midnights Clear. And whether we recognize it or not, we each need and want what was given to us over 2,000 years ago on that very first Christmas.
