Jonathan's 4th Birthday Party

We had so much fun celebrating our little mister's fourth birthday a few weeks ago! We had a mini party at Red Robin (his favorite restaurant) just for us and Gampa, who was passing through Eugene, on his birthday and then headed north to Tacoma for his big birthday party the following weekend. Since Jonathan is so into Curious George, he decided that he wanted a Curious George birthday party!

Decorating for the party was super fun, since George is about the cutest little monkey ever. It was fun to use primary colors. They made everything just a little bit more cheery!

The food was mostly an Italian theme, since George's favorite restaurant is Chef Pisghetti's. We had meatball sliders, margherita pizza, mini lasagnas, and bruschetta for lunch. But no birthday party would be complete without sweets! Even George loves his sweets (one of Jonathan's favorite George books is, "Curious George Goes to the Chocolate Factory")! We had birthday cake batter fudge, frozen banana bites, banana chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, and chocolate malt cupcakes with toasted marshmallow filling. Yummmmy! I think it's safe to say everyone had a bit of a sugar rush! :)

The birthday boy loves his cake and asked me to make chocolate cupcakes for his party. He downed it!

Everyone else did, too. :) Present time was super fun, and our dear family and friends spoiled Jonathan big time! He had so much fun opening all of the gifts, and loved being surrounded by family and honorary family.

He especially loved having his cousins, Emily and Jolee, at the party. The three of them always have so much fun together, and wasted no time breaking in Jonathan's new Color Wonder finger painting easel!

Overall, our little man had such a fun birthday party. It's hard to believe he's already in his fifth year of life! It's already off to a great start!

Oh goodie, I've been WAITING for these photos! Everything looks completely fabulous...you've knocked it out of the park yet again. You know I'm a sucker for all the cute labels! Looks like a fun-filled day! And dang it, now I am drooling for one of those luscious chocolate cupcakes. :) Those things are killer.
