I just know that the garden will be a place where all who spend time there will feel her presence. Thank you, Heather and family, for such a beautiful and peaceful (and fun) tribute to Shana Banana. It's just perfect.
That evening was filled with great conversation. Just being with their family is always so great! I absolutely LOVE to watch Jonathan and Orion and Piper play together. They have such a blast! At first, I don't think Jonathan knows quite what to do with them!
But within moments, Orion has Jonathan armed and ready to go on their top secret mission (aka spying on the parents).
And what happens if we take our eyes off of them for too long?
Agh! Yes, that is our son decked out in Duck gear. Gasp! Though UO has been very good to us, this mommy isn't quite ready to switch to the green and yellow from the purple and gold. Daddy's ready, but I almost jumped out of my skin when he came out of the house in this! :) Apparently Orion wanted them both in camo and green so they could "blend in" with the scenery and spy on us more. He wasn't too happy when he couldn't find his own Oregon sweatshirt (Jonathan is seen wearing Piper's sweatshirt. Not sure about the pants or boots, but it was also reported back that he may have taken the whole "commando" thing a bit too far ;)). The two of them provided some of the best entertainment we've had in a long time. What fun to see a third generation of friendship form . . . even if Jonathan had to switch teams to form it. :)
