On a day a little closer to Christmas, we decided to take some time out from our Christmas preparations for a family outing. Okay, so it probably isn't the most obvious of places for a "family" outing, but we've been wanting to go and had a good reason (fun presents for Uncle Gary). So, we took our toddler and walked through the doors of Eugene's most well-known brewery, Ninkasi.
Within no time, Jonathan had ponied up to one of the bar stools and made himself comfortable . . . maybe a little too comfortable. He seemed to be enjoying himself and letting go of the season's stresses (okay, he was just drinking water, but how cute is this picture?).
Here's a more family-oriented shot! Jonathan can say he learned to play Connect Four with his daddy at the Ninkasi Brewery over a sampler tray of brewski. :)

The tasting room offers very cool Ninkasi pretzels in the shape of their logo. It was so yummy!
Jonathan's photography perfectly captured Daddy's feelings about our outing.
We had so much fun taking a break from all of the holiday events and planning. Our Ninkasi visit as one of the first "sights" of Eugene we've been out to see and we had a ton of fun. Next adventure? Guess it's time to see the wineries! After all, we want Jonathan will have relaxed and fun memories of our time in Eugene. ;)
