Jonathan's buddy, Madeline, celebrated her fourth birthday at the beginning of November. We were so excited to finally be within driving distance so we could be at her party! Maddie requested a pirate party (due to her love of telescopes), and Lisa did a knock-out job delivering the best pirate princess party ever . . . tastylicious food, super-fun favors, and out-of-this-world decorations! Wish I could share them all here, but I've been sworn to secrecy with some of my pics until they're published on a very cool big party planning blog (I'll post the link when they are!). It really was that amazing!!
Unfortunately, little mister wasn't exactly in the partying mood. He fell asleep about eight miles south of Maddie's house in Portland and he was wasted the rest of the day. Such a sad (and slightly embarrassing) sight!
Yep, Jonathan's wearing a pirate hat. Maddie asked all of her friends to dress up like pirates and it was so much fun! Here's a peek at our little pirate . . .

While little mister pathetic sulked back at the house, the rest of Maddie's friends joined her for some time at a park just around the corner. Jonathan would have had a blast, but he wouldn't budge. Maybe next time. :)
Once most of the party guests went home, he decided to relax a bit and finally have fun with his buddy. We had a wonderful visit with the whole fam. Happy birthday, Madeline, and good job Hot Mama Lisa! We can't wait for lots and lots more pirate adventures together! :)
