Feeding Time
News flash... Jonathan just fed himself! Yes, at 3.5 months, he just held his own bottle for his feeding. What?! It was hilarious...like he'd known how to do it all along. That's how he looked when he finished... "what? I was just fooling you guys all this time. I've known how to do this forever, but since you guys were willing to feed me, I just figured I'd chill and enjoy." :) So adorable. Now he's busy smiling away on daddy's lap. Ugh. He's just too precious.

Wow! He's ahead of his time! Speaking of babies feeding themselves, have you seen those bottles that have a tube connecting the bottle and the nipple so that a baby can have the nipple in their mouth and the bottle in their lap? Pretty cool! I also saw a cool feeding tool at Babies 'R us--a spoon that has an integrated compartment that holds the baby food, so it squirts right onto the spoon when you squeeze it! Genuis!
P.S.--Maddie still loves to lay in our laps and have us feed her a bottle...the ultimate in comfort and snuggle time! :-)
