Yummy Thumb
Today, Jonathan decided to figure out exactly how to suck his thumb. He's been practicing for days, but hasn't quite gotten the hang of it. Today, a breakthrough! Somehow, he has decided that his thumb is the best tasting thing in the world! He can (usually) find it, and gets extremely frustrated when he can't. He wiggles his head all over the place until he finds it and goes about his business of self soothing. I love that he has found his thumb. He makes the sweetest little sounds while sucking it. I just want to gobble him up! Why, oh why, is he growing so fast?

Yay for JD! Maddie never was a thumb-sucker, but it would have been much easier if she HAD been! Otherwise PANIC insues when the binky cannot be found!! And you now know how hard it is to wrangle yourself into the backseat of a car while driving in order to find it! :-)
